" Dear customer service team. For many years now, I use your services and I am very pleased with your services. Some times, not often, there are some mishaps, but this time it exceeded them all. The bottom line was: I was charged twice! I was charged by Auto Europe (as I was deposed to) and I was charged twice as much by Sixt company directly. "

" I think AVIS/Budget should see how to make the MG Hybrid more reliable and not have the obligation to recharge the hybrid battery. "

" The Avis/Budget staff were very good. They gave me a new vehicle with 17km on the counter. It was a hybrid MG. However, there seems to be a design problem when the hybrid battery is empty for some reason the small battery for the normal engine is under stress and the car stalls with an empty battery. The car stalled at a light at 1am and I had to call a tow truck. The staff gave me another MG hybrid with 37,000km that drove well but again when the hybrid battery was empty the car would not even open ... Luckily we were with friends and were able to jump start the car, giving us access to the hybrid battery charger, charged the hybrid battery and drove around to recharge the 12V engine battery. It seems to be a design flaw between then Hybrid battery and the normal 12V vehicle battery. I am pretty sure AVIS/Budget are as upset with this as the customers. It is either a design flow with the MG Hybrid or a bad setting that needs to be changed quickly. "

" I have always been very satisfied with AutoEurope. "

" I would have given 10 for everything, BUT on the collection of the car I asked about recharging facilities in Paris and they told me that there was no problem at all. THAT WAS NOT TRUE! There are hardly any recharging points and the on-street ones do not accept credit cards, you require an account with some company the operates the charging points. I was forced to find a Fiat dealer who fortunately was very helpful and charged the car for me. Tha range of the Fiat 500 was appalling, I drove 111 km and the battery dropped from 100% charged to 11%! After the charge I drove another 67 km by the time I returned the car and the battery had dropped from 100% to 58%. The comfortable range of the car was only 100 km between full charges and a full charge from 10% takes 6 hours. I suggest that you warn clients that the real range of an electric car is only half of the manufacturer's claims and it is essential to ask what the TRUE SITUATION about charging stations is before hiring an electric car. "

" It was rather strange experience. When I arrived to receive the car (booked more than 2 months before), there was no car in stock. First I was proposed some little manual car (the booked one was CDAR) - I refused. Then we were waiting for something about 1.5 hour. After that they promised that I'll get the car tomorrow (I agreed since we were staying in Paris some days more). They have ordered for us taxi to our hotel and even payed for it. On the next day they called and told that the car is ready. When we arrived, it was still in cleaning. So we got it (Not absolutely clean, but we had no time to wait. Inside it was OK). The car itself was ok (it was plugin hybrid. not charged, so the fuel consumption rather serious). It's sort of "happy end". I believe they are not "bad guys", but the situation is problematic. "

" Very poor customer service. Arrived at the till to pick up our car. Were told that 15 minutes were needed for it to get ready...fine makes sense. 2 hours later still no car. Despite being told every 15 minutes that our car would be ready in 15 minutes as I kept asking. When we were finally sent out to collect our car. I realised that there were lots of cars there waiting to be rented so I could not understand the delay. Was then told that due to the long wait...ruined our first day trip program, we were promised a 15% discount. It's not been almost 2 weeks since our return and nothing has happened. This is a very amateur company. I have rented cars all over the world and never have I had such a bad experience. I have sent repeated emails but no response. "

" Very friendly & extremely helpful customer service. I lost my wallet in Paris the night before we were supposed to pick up the rental to begin our road trip down to the south of France & back up through the Alps. I didn't have my drivers license or any form of payment plus I was 2 hours late to pick up the rental because we were trying to track down my wallet by going to every place we had been the night before. I couldn't get ahold of Sixt on the phone so I called the number on my Auto Europe reservation. The woman who helped me was so sympathetic & told me that although she didn't think the situation looked good because most agencies don't allow for last minute changes, that she was going to try to work directly with Sixt to explain the situation & see if they could help. It all ended up working out & the woman really helped to calm me down over the phone. Highly recommend. "

" I was warned against renting a car from anyone other than Sixt while traveling in Europe due to other places hidden fees & inflexibility. Even though it looked like it was going to cost a little bit extra, I headed friends' warnings & booked with Sixt. Very very glad I did. " I had reserved an automatic SUV. At the counter, they had either an automatic sedan, or a manual drive SUV. Both were new vehicles and they offered me a choice. I finally went for the manual drive SUV as I specifically wanted a SUV. Not having an automatic was a disappointment though. The two cars they offered me were brand new, and the one I took only had 3 km on the odometer. On the flip side, it didn't have any fuel so the first order of business when I left the car rental was trying to find a gas station that delivered diesel. "
